Word Record In Environmental Preservation By Dera Sacha Sauda


Sirsa -  One more extraordinary  global achievement by world known Dera Sacha Sauda. On the birthday of Present Saint Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan i.e. 15th of August, which is also the Independence day of India, under the tree planting movement there were 9,38,007 trees planted in just one hour. This unique effort has been recorded in the Guinness Book of World Records. The previous record was set by Woodland Trust/Tree O’ clock U.K. by planting only 5,41.176 trees . The certificate issued in the name of Guru ji its depicted that on 15th Aug. 2009, 1,69,920 member of Shah Satnam Ji Green S Welfare force led by rev. Saint Gurmeet Ram Rahin Singh Ji Insan planted 9,38,007 trees just in one hour.
It is worth mentioning here that on 15th Aug. 2009  the birthday of Guruji and Independence day of India was celebrated in a very novel way by the members of Shah Satnam Ji Green S Welfare force by planting 68,73,451 trees in one day.
In the leadership of Rev. Guru ji this tree planting movement gave the country a new lease of life. A mile stone was set in the direction of preserving environments.

The Dera Sacha Sauda followers not only planted the trees but also vowed to protect these.

Dera Sacha Sauda Sirsa as it is already known to the world and as per GUINNESS BOOK OF WORLD RECORDS for blood donation also. On 10th October 2007 at Sri Gurusar Modia (Sri Ganganagar) 17,921 units blood was collected in one day. The Dera surpassed its own world record set on Dec. 7, 200, where 15,432 unit blood was collected.

Besides these remarkable achievements Dera is also well known for its contributions towards Eye donation , cadaver donation for medical research.
About all these achievements Guru ji says that these are only for social welfare and humanity  not to set any records etc. The endless devotion of dera followers towards service of humanity makes these records dwarf.
