Dera Sacha Sauda’s "Naam-Shabad"
* Cures physical ailments.
* Rids worries and stresses.
* Makes one a cheerful person in body, mind and spirit.
* Brings success in life’s endeavours.
* Helps one be the master of one’s thoughts.
* Leads one deep into one’s consciousness.
* Connects one with God.
On what it is?
The Naam-Shabd is a set of mystic words that praise and invoke God. The constant remembrance of and regular meditation on the Naam-Shabd leads one deep into one’s own consciousness and delivers one to the God who resides inside each one of us. Naam-Shabd meditation is a simple yet powerful way of stilling one’s body, emotions and mind; integrating them as a unit; and aligning them with God. Every session of Naam-Shabd meditation brings with it an experience of inner peace and tranquility that cannot be described in words. Before long one perceives God’s sound and light and in the process becomes aware of the true purpose of one’s life. The Naam-Shabd is the bridge between one’s individual soul and God.
On what it requires?
Naam-Shabd meditation is a simple and practical way of connecting with God. Each one of us can practice it irrespective of our gender, age, caste, creed, race, nationality or religion. The Guru while initiating an individual asks that he/she give up alcohol, non-vegetarian food, and immorality. Besides these there are no other restrictions of any kind on the individual. After initiation one needs to spend 15-60 minutes in the morning and the same in the evening daily in meditation, besides repeating the Naam-Shabd silently with one’s tongue or inside one’s mind whenever possible.
On its benefits?
We human beings are mines of potentialities and capabilities that have never been drawn forth from the realm of the subconscious into objective usefulness. Through Naam-Shabd meditation these inherent powers unfold normally and naturally. One of the first effects of the meditation is an increased self-confidence and efficiency in one’s daily life, be it at home, the office, or any other place. This increased efficiency brings with it success in every endeavor that one embarks upon.
Naam-Shabd meditation reduces stress and develops a sense of peace, joy, and strength within oneself. Scientific tests have shown that it strengthens one’s immune system and keeps one healthy. At the level of consciousness, it awakens one’s intuition, opens one’s heart, and helps one flush out negative emotions.
Naam-Shabd meditation is a proven alternative therapy for not just common ailments but also incurable diseases. Many prominent doctors of our country not only recommend this meditation for their patients but are also practitioners of this meditation themselves. They recommend this as a way to lower blood pressure, help people with asthma breathe easier, relieve restlessness, and to generally relax the stresses of everyday life.
The Naam-Shabd not only helps us live a happy, healthy and content life but also ultimately delivers us to our Creator God.
On the Guru?
The role of the Guru is very important in Naam-Shabd meditation. The Guru has already journeyed on the spiritual path of the Naam-Shabd and found his destination: God. Hence, he thoroughly knows the path and is capable of guiding the disciple from within so that he does not lose his way in the various spiritual planes that are stages on the path. Thus, it is only the God-realized soul who can be a Guru. Such a one possesses the qualities of God Himself. He teaches that God is one and all religions talk of the same God. For him all humankind are the children of God and hence he does not discriminate among people on the basis of caste, creed, race, religion, etc. He earns his living through hard work and righteous means and does not live on charity. And most importantly, he practices what he preaches and is a leader by example.

1. In Dera Sacha Sauda all religions are equally honoured and welcomed.
2. Dera Sacha Sauda believes in humanity as the greatest religion and is involved in the true service of humanity. The poor, helpless and sick are helped here in every possible manner.
3. In Dera Sacha Sauda no discrimination is made among people on the basis of rich and poor, inferior and superior, etc.
4. Dera Sacha Sauda does not accept any offerings, donations or fees for the meditation that is taught here.
5. Dera Sacha Sauda rejects the false customs, malpractices, superficiality and deceit that happen in the name of religion.
6. The Truth is taught at Dera Sacha Sauda and inspiration given to walk on the path of Truth. Prabhu, Paramatma, Ram, Allah, Waheguru, God is the only Truth and the method of meditating on Him is taught here. One need not change one’s religion or outward appearance in order to practice this meditation.
7. Dera Sacha Sauda is an assembly of pure spirituality and only the method of connecting man with God is taught here.
8. Dera Sacha Sauda does not have any links with politics.
9. The assembly of Dera Sacha Sauda is decorated with the virtues of humility, modesty, simplicity and truthfulness. Only he who adopts these virtues is worthy of praise.
10. Consumption of alcohol and other intoxicants is strictly prohibited in Dera Sacha Sauda.
11. The cardinal rules of DSS are to not eat non-vegetarian food, to not consume alcohol, and for men and women to consider persons other than their spouses as either mother, sister or daughter, or father, brother or son.
12. DSS strongly opposes customs like the dowry system and other social ills. It discourages the superficial rituals and unreasonable expenditure related to births, deaths and marriages. At the Satsangs conducted by DSS, marriages are conducted in the presence of the Sadh-Sangat in a simple manner by exchanging garlands.
13. DSS believes in earning one’s livelihood through hard work and rightful means. The celibate volunteers of the Dera work for 15 to 18 hours a day and they practice meditation. It is only by earning one’s bread through rightful means that one gets peace of mind and makes rapid progress in spirituality.
14. DSS strictly opposes theft, dishonesty, bribery and corruption. People here are inspired to walk on the path of truth and honesty and serve humanity as this is necessary in today’s age.
15. At the Satsangs conducted by DSS separate arrangements are made for men and women to sit, dine and sleep. The arrangements for men are taken care of by men and those for women by women.
Whoever abides by the above sacred rules of DSS and meditates on Allah, Ram, Waheguru, God, he/she will be blessed with the happiness of both worlds, he/she will find God, and his/her soul will attain to salvation.

Jaam-E-Insan-Dera Sacha Sauda, Sirsa
1. What is ‘Jaam-E-Insan’?
2. What is the history of ‘Jaam-E-Insan’?
Since time immemorial, all the saints and seers, who incarnated in this world, out of their benevolence and love, gave their disciples some "distinct" spiritual advancements and experiences, that made up for their identification. Similarly, In Dera Sacha Sauda, to revive humanity, this practice has been started that initiates disciple towards self less service of mankind.
3. Why ‘Jaam-E-Insan’ is being introduces now not in the earlier days of Dera Sacha Sauda’s history?
This sacred movement started on 29th April 2007 much after establishment of Dera Sacha Sauda. Its roots lie in Words of Param Pitaji (2nd Master, Shah Satnam Ji Maharaj), one day Param Pitaji felt that people are not getting attached to "Naam" and uttered "naam se log itne nahi jud rahe to kuchh pila diya jaye”. Param Pitaji used to utter that "Lets give them something to drink ". It's the words of saint, materializing today. Saints words have only one purpose to ignite desire in disciple’s soul for Almighty. In this “kalyug” crimes are increasing on the sake of religion, custom, tradition & culture so now it became essential to remove the bone of contention. As sun grows & sets according to God’s wish, similarly It is great “rehmo karam” By huzur PITA JI at the right time.
4. What are the benefits of ‘Jaam-E-Insan’?
5. Why should I take ‘Jaam-E-Insan’ ?
This Jaam is from the same everlasting source of happiness, from where the gift of "Naam" came. As a human needs food to live, similarly jaam is necessary for the revival of humanity. Jaam helps a disciple to connect with Naam and experience happiness that resided within our self. True duty of every human being is to serve humanity and Jaam encourages a disciple every moment for self less service and this is true humanity.
6. How ‘Jaam-E-Insan’ is being prepared?
Jaam e insan is a concoction of sugar, Sharbar-e-rooh (a rose preparation) and milk (water??). Representatives from all the religions prepare this Jaam, with continued remembrance of holy name (Naam). In the beginning, all the disciples are made to take mandatory oath to follow 47 rules of Jaam-e-Insan by Huzur Pitaji.
7. Who can take ‘Jaam-E-Insan’?
Any human being who is blessed with the alms of ‘Naam’ from Beparvah Shah Mastana Ji Maharaj, Param Pita Shah Satnam Ji Maharaj or Huzur Pitaji can take Jaam-e-Insan.
8. How to take ‘Jaam-E-Insan’ ?
9. What changes I can see in my life after ‘Jaam-E-Insan’?
Disciple experiences happiness from inner self called “Ruhani Khushiyan“. It strengthens our self and with strong will power, disciple finds all his worldly problems to be smalls and wins over them.
10. Why it is called ‘Ruhani Jaam’ as well?
11. Is there any fix charges or subscription fee for ‘Jaam-E-Insan’?
12. Do I have to resign or join any specific religion to take ‘Jaam-E-Insan’?
Aim of Jaam-E- Insan is to make people of all religion to live in harmony & to eradicate the communal hatred. It is not required to join or resign any religion. Rather it is an affirmation to be true to one’s own religion while recognizing the unity of all religions and the universal religion of Humanity. As a token of it, representatives from all the religions, while in remembrance of holy "Naam", prepare this.
13. If ‘Jaam-E-Insan’ is not act of change in religion then why a unique ID (Insan No.) is being given at the time of ‘Jaam-E-Insan’?
14. What the objective behind inserting all gurus’ picture on Insan pendant?
The seed of Dera Sacha Sauda was sown by Shehanshah Mastana Ji Maharaj, second master Param Pita Shah Satnam Ji Maharaj nourished it, and with hard labor of Hazoor Pita Sant Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan, it is now like a strong tree. "Raam naam" has reached to all corners of world and countless humans are getting benefited with this divine gift of Jaam.
"swarup" (pictures) of all three masters on Insan locket indicates three shahanshahi bodies for one holy soul. If anybody gets indulged into evil deeds, it prevents him/her to do so & make us remember that God is always with us.
